Production & Research and Development
After completing a Chemistry degree at an overseas university, Ben worked for almost thirty years as a researcher at a state funded institute for applied industrial research. During this time he published regular research reports and presented papers at symposia. While working at the institute he improved his skills in chemical analysis, food technology and nutrition, and added a computer science degree to his academic qualifications.
After working for a few years in the computer field, Ben was appointed as manufacturing chemist at a New Zealand factory that manufactures agricultural products. This gave him experience of production scheduling and factory management.
At Naturefarm, Ben is responsible for the production of microbial products, along with research and development for new products.
